Position: Crane Operator

Job Description:

The Crane Operator will be the primary person responsible for the safe operations, maintenance, and control of cranes, which why use to move and lift materials, machinery and other heavy objects. This role will align with the company's strategies for future growth and diversification. 

Responsibilities:

• Determining the weight of items to be moved
• Comparing the weight of items to the maximum capacity of the crane
• Inspecting clearances, overhead lines, and other possibilities
• Transferring loads to construction sites and discharging safely
• Binding loads to cranes
• Perform daily inspections on equipment and machinery
• Keeping and updating maintenance and activity log
• Coordinating with ground operators and interpreting hand and verbal signals
• Following safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications:

• Proficient in oral and written communication skills
• Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain rapport

• Self-motivated individual accustomed to being in a position of responsibility 
• A flexible schedule is a plus 

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent education or work experience
• Valid crane operator certification from the NCCCO for Telescopic Boom – Swing Cranes (TLL) or an equivalent certification from a recognized training organization
• Valid driver’s license 
• Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and industry standards
• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations, and ANSI Standards in crane operations
